I really can't wait until modding personally, as it seems as if it would be simple, so that complex things can be created without needing to spend hours on it. An idea is that there should be extendible beams (used for lifting the back/storage-thing of a dump truck). You should allow modders to create custom "control boards" for the more advanced vehicles.
Re: 2D Spring Physics Game Prototype Glad to see people still have interest! Don't worry I haven't lost mine. For terrain I think I'll try to create an editor. I'm currently thinking about the way the menus will work, vehicle info files, etc.

Also will there be terrain deformation like in spintires, and crashing through houses, fences etc. You should call it: SpinSprings. Just some thoughts.
Re: 2D Spring Physics Game Prototype For Unity ,there are too many JSON parsers and many too slow or don't even follow syntax properly. So for this case I've created DMON, my own little twist on a format like JSON. Terrain will be a sprite sheet, so having deformation won't be possible. Also, I'll definitely try to add a variety of destructable objects

Re: 2D Spring Physics Game Prototype Do these stats (offroad = 20, speed = 20 etc.) actually change the vehicle's proprieties or is it just written in the stats section of the Buggy vehicle? Ex. you can put 691337666 as the speed, and that would show in the menu, but wouldn't change the vehicle itself in any way. - - - Updated - - - Also will there be good particle physics (kicking up dirt, sand, etc.), with collision and whatnot.
