Re: StinchinStein's Mods (Home of the More Features Mod) the oil temp needle in the cars goes to Cold even the engines gets hotter
Re: StinchinStein's Mods (Home of the More Features Mod) Okay guys. This mod is fully compatible with the new modding system! You can extract the 3 files from the .zip (art, html, lua) into your Documents\BeamNG.drive\mods! This is good news because now you won't have to overwrite any files It should look like this:
Re: StinchinStein's Mods (Home of the More Features Mod) Which one is the latest one? I see 4.1, the rest, and then 4.10 which technically is 4.1 so I'm just really confused
Re: StinchinStein's Mods (Home of the More Features Mod) No, 4.10 is 4.10.. not 4.1 4.10 is the latest.
Re: StinchinStein's Mods (Home of the More Features Mod) Lol.. Better tell Mojang that too then. xD (Minecraft 1.7.10)
Re: StinchinStein's Mods (Home of the More Features Mod) Its a version number not a decimal point. It is version four revision ten, not four point one zero (or 4.1). 4.1, version 4 revision 1, definitely not equal to 4.10, version 4 revision 10. - - - Updated - - - See above. Its a version numbering system not a normal decimal numbering system. 10 is alot bigger than 1. This is very common practice in the software development world. Usually broken down even further actually into a 0.0.0.0 format. Major version. Major revision. Minor revision (patch). Build number. Or similar patterns.
Re: StinchinStein's Mods (Home of the More Features Mod) Alright, I get it. Just a thought, will there be clutch failure at some point? Like if I were to drop the clutch one too many times, the clutch would burn out. Or if I sloppily shifted over and over, clutch engagement would gradually become rougher and more slippery to shift each occurrence, until it slips like hell...that would be sick. It should also be relative to how bad the shift is. For example, 5 clutch drops at full rpm vs 5 slightly crappy shifts; obviously the clutch degrade will be steep between each clutch drop. The half assed shifts would still degrade between each shift, but at a way lesser rate. Also, to see the car aggresively jerk and also feel it in the force feedback from a sloppy or rough shift, as well as the resulting stuttering RPMs, that would make my day.
Re: BeamNG - Better Engine Mod (Suggestions Accepted) - 1.0 for some reason i cannot for the love of anything holy find the morebuttons app im in ver. 0.4.0.6 im thinking this could be the problem is it?
Re: BeamNG - Better Engine Mod (Suggestions Accepted) - 1.0 Its called Extra Buttons if I remember correctly.
Re: StinchinStein's Mods (Home of the More Features Mod) should of updated the original release post that you can put it in your mods, instead of me messing up my game.. steering no longer works, the tach is not working and a few more things. How do I go about removing this mod.
Re: StinchinStein's Mods (Home of the More Features Mod) It should still work either way.. Just re install your game or revert to a backup.
Re: StinchinStein's Mods (Home of the More Features Mod) I presume i installed wrong I dont know, it removed my UI editor, I un-installed it completely.. still none.
Re: StinchinStein's Mods (Home of the More Features Mod) Update! 4.11: + You have to hold the brake to shift now (Real Automatic only). ~ All buttons reverted to old way (In Speedo and Tacho) + Added blinker sounds * Many bugs when you reset your vehicle ~ Tweaked stalling RPM. - - - Updated - - - Enable Advanced Functions under the options menu. That will give you your UI editor back.
Re: [SMOKE UPDATE] StinchinStein's Mods (Home of the More Features Mod) Hey guys. I'm guessing most of you will will like this new feature.. SMOKE. Yes, smoke emits from the vehicles hood when you can't start it anymore, isn't that wonderful? A warning: This is experimental. Thanks & Have Fun! Update: I have only tested this on the D15. Whoops! Guess you'll have to wait for other vehicles
Re: [SMOKE UPDATE] StinchinStein's Mods (Home of the More Features Mod) Why is the engine so hot? This is normal when I spawn any vehicle. Seems a little unrealistic. s
Re: [SMOKE UPDATE] StinchinStein's Mods (Home of the More Features Mod) Uhh. I'm not sure.. I'll have to look into that.
Re: [SMOKE UPDATE] StinchinStein's Mods (Home of the More Features Mod) The oil temparature mod has done this before, but I don't have that installed anywhere in the beamng.drive directory. I hope that at least helps a little. By that, I mean clearing up that I didn't do anything stupid and not just going on the forums and complaining about it. BTW: I thought the engine smoke was going to be based on the engine overheating, but not like the picture that I posted.
