5.5.0/5.4.0 fps problems

    i have an Intel(R) Core(TM) i3-2330M CPU at 2.20ghz (i know its a little low but it works fine) and before 5.5.0 and 5.4.0 i was running 30 to 60 fps on low settings, but at port i now barely get 15.
    so, is there another way than lowering your quality to improve fps?

    NVIDIA GeForce 410M 993MB with the same settings as before

    4.0 GB RAM and windows 7 home premium

    its low, but i can get 30fps.
