It's way more because it's an entire game being worked on by a full team of people that still continuously receives updates years later.
Okay? The spirit of my argument obviously wasn't "hurr durr the base game is too expensive", it was "if you can afford the base game, you can obviously also afford a mod that's fraction of the base game's cost".

How are these screenshots taken? I mean which background is being used because the background always matches the car color and it looks amazing
The materials of the showroom map (available when you enable debug content on the map select) get their color edited to the color of the car you want to take a picture of. Pretty easy to do
