kind of, in the UK at least there is a smaller plate size to suit Japanese imports such as Skylines ect.. but I believe these were not introduced until the 90s at the earliest (i am not too sure when exactly) but in any case, in the 70s when the Signia would have been sold, wide plates were really the only option in Europe, and cars were designed so that wider plates could be fitted with some minor modification (such as moving license plate illumination lights ect..) and a final fun fact, facelifted AE86 Corollas that were sold in Europe actually retained the pre facelift taillights, for both 2 and 3 door models this is because the JDM/USDM kouki taillights are designed in such a way that wide euro plates physically cannot fit
Motorcycle plates formats are roughly the same size I think, so it could be a workaround. I also think Italy and Monaco have tiny but legal front plates in some occasions
I was just trying the demo and when spawning it steers all the way to the left and stays there. Happens to LHD and RHD version. No reaction to gas/brake input either. (A Claria parked right next to it works alright) Anyone had that happen? Known fix? EDIT: It's a conflicting mod. Now I just need to find out which one of my 90 installed mods it is …
I can not tell since when, but atleast for like the last 20 years ("Blue EU Plates") you can get the license plates in germany also in a kind of US/JP Style. I think they use the Motorcycle Plates for that. You see a lot of US and JDM imports with these, since you can get an exception to use them on a car if technically necessary. Or in some cases a shortened EU-Style plate.
I am playing BeamNG trough Wine CrossOver on a Mac. On Wine the PNG -> DDS conversion doesn't work, so if I clear my cache I have to manually put back all the DDS files into temp/art (there's a Github for Mac & Linux Users that provides DDS files for vanilla maps and mod maps). So I don't clear the cache every 5 minutes like a normal Windows user would do. Well let's see if I can figure it out without clearing cache … or if there's no other way. Sometimes mods also alter other game files they shouldn't mess with
If you can, delete your temp folder in your Local BeamNG.drive folder. you can get to this by opening a repo mod in explorer in the menu and then backing out to Beamng.drive. This does the same thing as clearing cache in the launcher but might keep the dds files
The file structure is: Temp -> Art -> terrainMaterialCache (this folder contains the DDS) So if I literally throw away the temp folder, I throw away all DDS files.
Hey i was wondering, is there plans to add the Ibishu Signia as a one time purchase on patreon like the other two vehicles. I was wanting to use paypal to purchase the Signia
I've got an update wip/planned for after I finish the Claria's cargo boxes, once that's out I'll add the Signia to the shop
