I’m surprised myself that I had the attention span to go through the codes to this extent, I’m also trying to appease the people who must have their mods reflect the real thing. And to that I say, challenge accepted!
was messing with the texture editor and managed to get the interior to look much better by duplicating the textures onto a second PBR laye r
Seeing as the Driver SF model is not particularly the best, would it be possible to maybe use a Forza model? Or would it have legal consequences? --- Post updated --- Holy sh now u can actually see the speedo lol
maybe for interior. exterior wise the driver sf model is a million times easier to work with and has pretty near ideal polyflow for beamng standards.
I honestly love the earlier dash style this has, the later 90s one on the Forza model doesn't sit right for me lol. But maybe Forza elements like seats?
yeah I expected the DRVSF model to be easier to work with but maybe making the best of both of them would be nice, biggest "issue" for me is that the dash lights don't work, but still an amazing mod and finally I can drive my affordable dream car :>
Main issue is that the normalmaps are oddly strong, resulting in that strange shading. Should definitely fix some stuff going on with it. Thankfully that new layer lacks the normalmap texture and makes it look a whole lot nicer.
the second picture is what the interior looked like beforehand (bad) first one is what it looks like after editing it (good) the interior textures look a lot more realistic and higher quality
this mod is sick i cant wait to see more updates (ps will there be a twisted metal version in the future when the mod is updated more and improved?? it was in the show (its really good))
They’re using the in game texture editor to mess with it, I’ve dabbled with it before. The texture editor is in one of the world editor’s drop down menus.
10/10 mod i love how you did the sounds, car itself drives really well (not boaty enough though) and honestly great model quality and stuff just noticed one issue however: the stock car configuration has such a high revving engine that it literally loses power entirely at 8000 rpm and just becomes a glorified i4 and starts to die off slowly because of overrev damage other than that very nais
