It's a bit complicated. Nodeweight just exists but messing with it often creates instabilities. i did hear something about a global Nodeweight, but I haven't looked into it or figured that out just yet.
the backside doesnt have a model, just a result of driver sf interior meshes. i will add one at some point.
I know how to adjust the weights, also I saw that the gearing was off. I can help you if you don't mind.
I'm in the process of figuring out weights with another mod I'm working on and have had success, but i wouldn't mind a touch with gearing at all . Feel free to make any contributions you wish though, I haven't had a ton of time due to this being my very last year in high school. I'll be graduating on the 7th.
more weight (whether by increased nodeweight or too many nodes) = lower beamspring and beamdamp until the structure stops exploding.
real nice mod, two biggest problems: i feel like the car is too loud, it overtakes the sound of other cars even in interior the interior lighting is kinda messed up
Well, I updated this just in time then. Added stock exhaust option to quiet it down, updated the 2.8 V6's torque and power curve (again), and changed up the V8's exhaust sound. Should perform and sound a little bit nicer now. Still has no proper V6 engine model though
There is nothing more to it? I bet this is still alot of work though. But i thought there were way more parameters than that to change...
Only if you load a 200bx before it other than that no you can load mods with no name changes as long as you don't load the main jbeam car before it
I understand. This was always my first quick check to see if the names have been changed, but I guess the file names don´t matter, only the slot names. So I can edit the coupe_engine_v6.jbeam without causing harm to original 200BX?
Yeah I'd imagine because the slot isn't coupe , I was gonna try and add a few 200bx V8 mods I have and just change the slot names it's pretty easy
I'm seeing that this gen of Camaro has a decent amount of engines/transmissions variations throughout its production. Would you like to include all variations? If that's the plan I'm all for it, just felt I should ask first.
Ok, but about the V8s. I found that there was a 5.0L and a 5.7 for the 92 models. Which one were you planing on adding? Also got the five-speed man and four-speed auto (92) ready
