Bro.. I literally said its annoying as hell to do it all the fucking time because of inbalanced modded engines.
Is it so hard to adjust and test these volumes before releasing mods? other authors do it too and it works perfectly.
Just read what i wrote before write stuff like that.

Yeah i thought especially of the 8.5 V10 and the 7.1 Diesel. In my opinion they need to be adjusted a little but thats about it. No big problem but as stated i can be really annoying to adjust engine audios all the time while playing just because some mod engines aren´t really volume balanced.
I just wanted to bring that up to you to decide whenever you want to change it or think it should stay that way. At the end of the day its #YourModYourChoice.

 

Engines can be loud in real life, and may very well blow out your eardrums.
For the age and size of the engine, this is realistic.
Even if it is loud, that's just how it was programmed to be.

its an old as hell industrial diesel which may as well be in a tractor, what do you expect? base game engine sounds are shitty anyways

from what ive heard emissions and whatnot are way more lenient on heavy duty vehicles. from what ive heard for instance in heavy duty chevy k series trucks engines didnt have as much emissions equipment.

honestly now after listening yea sounds are pretty damn loud, specially compared to the base game.

 

The sound is from a tractor. It is what it is. If you want to modify it you can. One of these days I'll get around to working on recording sounds from my truck and handing those off to Ren to work on them. For now, I'm busy with my life and will not be doing that anytime in the next few months.

 

Yeah sure no problem tweaking it by myself. The sound is nice its not the problem. All i said was maybe it can get tweaked a bit by default so its more in line with vanilla engine sound so i dont have to tweak around all the time when mixing vanilla vehicles with moddes ones in my gametime. The sound as it is is just fine and dandy.

i already tried many sound combos. It definitely is the sound of the 7.1 Diesel in particular.
Besides, some have even agreed with me on it being too loud compared to other engines or even vanilla ones so i dont think what else i can say to solidify the matter. The sound is nice: Its just a little bit too loud compared to the rest. no more, no less.

 

This truck is so sweet !!! the amount of trims and optins avaible are so neat ! Will be making a longer video on this mod. Hats off to the creator/creators for making a medium duty truck for this game !

Will there be an update soon? Looking forward to future updates and content. Also, I see there is a work in progress tow upfit for it, very excited about it. Will it be functional? There are no good tow truck mods currently. I was also wondering if there will be a dump body upfit. Great work, thank you!
