Sixsixsevenseven is right. That's the old version. You must've clicked one of the old links. The new one is the file attached to the main post.
Well, I tried with a new file (the attachment, not the old links) and got the same result. Not sure why this is happening. (Newest experimental version on Steam, I deleted the old Golf and put in the new one...)
You said that you already deleted the old Golf, so I doubt this will work. But it's worth a try right? Delete the cached data file (inside the Golf's folder) and fully reload the vehicle. Sent from my BLU ADVANCE 4.0 using Tapatalk
That's definitely the old version of the Golf. See how some of the interior bits are white? That was how the chrome looked before I properly mapped everything for the color selector. Try this. 1. Go to documents -> BeamNG.drive -> cache -> vehicles. You should see a folder called "87Golf." Delete this folder. 2. Go here: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\BeamNG.drive and find the file called "87Golf." If it's the old version, it will be a folder located in the "vehicles" folder. If it's the new version, it will be a ZIP file located in content -> vehicles. Either way, delete the file. 3. Redownload the new ZIP file from the first post. Place the entire ZIP file here (don't extract): C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\BeamNG.drive\content\vehicles Let me know if that works. If not, PM me.
After re-doing the deleting and putting in the new one about three times, my computer finally got the point and it works now. Thanks much!
OH wow this is such a nice car thank you for taking your time to make this beauty! Would be really nice to see a XR2 Fiesta!
