Because it sounds fitting. Would make more sense considering the fall of humanity and for those who are left, are to make "a new" era of life. Though may say the same for wild but, "A New East Coast" just sounds way better to me.

Update 4.7 Expansion. Update 1.8 Here in this update This version brings a couple new things and general better looking areas. Areas that have been improved would be around the check points, added in some new assets to better fit the environment. Added new vehicle assets and lore responsible ones. Expanded the watch tower, Firwood Dam, Silver Hill Hospital/Laboratories, Firwood itself, Rocherdale, and a new crash site. Also, Checkpoint 1 should now be more accessible! No longer one way in-one way out! That should be all for this update ^^ --------------------------------------------------------------------- --------------------------------------------------------------------- The beginning of a new conquest. After many years of staying neutral and confined, the TRF finally decides to set trail back into the old military checkpoints that still stand. Firstly being Checkpoint 1. Of course, the roads there were completely destroyed. Making makeshift bridges (and outposts) to gain entrance into Checkpoint 1, they enter, understandably the place being overgrown. Cutting some trees down, they make way for their transport vehicles to gather left over supplies. Including finding some old documents featuring stages of infected and Silver Hill Hospital's state, the place still having valuable medical supplies. But it was dated in 2026, the current year being 2044. Since the hospital was sealed off before the documents were made, and being ground zero of the fall. Who knows what could still be inside, festering. Well, it's just skins, I don't see a problem here, it's surprising that we don't have scenarios dependent on Fictional Trucking and Service Skin Pack and moded cars.
Update 5.0 A new era Here in this update Version 2.0 brings in a lot of new additions to the map. A bunch of new assets have also been added to the map along side with a bunch of new and improved areas. Could sorta say this is a remaster lol. Here are some of the changes- Firwood has been reworked Silver Hill Hospital has been reworked Firwood Port has been reworked Firwood Fishing Village has been reworked Military checkpoints have been reworked and more. Here are some screenshots! --------------------------------------------------------------------- A New Age After a few months after going through the old town and checkpoints, nothing much was found except for some extra ammunition, vehicle parts but most importantly, more information about the CWD outbreak. Some papers recovered from the abandoned checkpoints show the basic stuff regarding details and the different stages of those who are infected. But who knows what other stages there are considering the pages were dated 10 years ago. On the other hand, the Christmas season is here! Residents of Rocherdale put up some decorations around their fort in celebration. As well as cleaning up the area and rebuilding some of their homes. Recently TRF have gotten two Military tanks up and running, painting their own name onto the side of it. Though who knows how long they'll be able to keep them running considering maintenance. On the other hand, some TRF personnel have ventured to the old Silver Hill hospital. Removing the old army truck blocking the main entrance. Though, not much else has been done other than that.
