    Hello,

So, I noticed there wasn't any gas caps on any of BeamNG's cars ( apart from the T-Series ).
I know it's only a detail but now that I saw it I can't see anything else.

    What's why I was wondering :
    Is it intentional ?
Is there any easy way of implementing this ? (I'm a noob at modelling)

Probably not intentional, (don't quote me on that) But yes implementing that would be extremely easy, even with a hinge that fly's open.

If I recall correctly it had to do with the fact that they texture the vehicles on one side and then mirror it over to make things easier (Therefore a gas cap would be on both sides). As for a physical jbeamed one who knows, but every official car that had been released in this game has been more detailed and refined than the last.

I think the D15 could surely have symmetrical gas caps. I've seen a lot of trucks like that.

Wouldn't the mirrored texture thing be fine if it was a mesh instead? Covet only has 1 wingmirror.
I'd imagine that could create more problems haha.

Modeling the fuel cap is actually a good idea imo.

If the gas cap could be added without modifying the body in any way that could work. The vehicle devs don't play that game though, and if they put a gas cap on something it would make sense and also be properly hooked up to the tank.
