True, but I'd like to counterargue by saying that using such an old map on a newer version of the game, bugs are just a given.
Bug reports are meant to eliminate said bugs, and notify the author. The sledgehammer by nadeox was broken, someone talked about that bug, and they were told off for bumping. The mod was shortly after fixed by the author. If it has the released tag, it's meant to work. If it doesn't work correctly, that's a bug that the author needs to know about. Passenger driver loads mod by synsol was marked outdated when it broke.
Here's refreshed Altitude for the game version 0.33 and hopefully for a few updates more. This is the full version with trees and no fog. Everything is kept as original as possible. The gravity worm hole causes flickering on player car windows, but only in orbit view. If it bothers you, the fix is to delete the whole thing (F11 > SceneTree > space). There's no need to unpack. You can delete or edit what you want and save the map. The changes will be saved in BeamNG.drive/0.33/levels/altitude folder. If you want to revert the map back to original, just delete the files in that folder.
Yeah, scroll up the thread, there's a fix I have Altitude working in 0.34 with some small texture issues: some dirt PBR texture overlapping the asphalt texture in some places some dirt road texture appearing as a black block (with shining aura around if I have Bloom on) But other than that working and for some reason looking better than in 0.33, cannot pinpoint why. Looks fabulous.
