There's no such thing as nVidia and AMD cards, you know... Plus, it's quite the opposite, nVidia is famous for their mobile chips failing at a massive scale .
I once had a Quadro NVS 135M (I think that was the model) in my old laptop. It lasted about 3 months. Never overheated. My current NVS 160M shows no signs of failure even with it running over 840MHz. (Like 560MHz stock or something.)
Yes, Intel is superior in a lot of cases. AMD however has its place in the market. On a budget? AMD provides way better processors for the sub $130 range. Recording/Livestreaming a lot? The 8 cores help with that as well. That being said, Intel does perform better in a lot of gaming situations (not all) and would be better for this game as a lot have said. AMD specializes in graphics, they just make processors because they can.
