Released American 80's Fullsize Series 2.1

I think Regency coupe and sedan diesel V8 engine needs turbocharging option (or supercharging), it feels very underpowered for what it is.

 

This is a great mod, but I have one issue.

The Delta 88 isn't working for me.

Every time I try to spawn it.. this happens.


The rest of the cars work fine with no issue whatsoever.

 

Delete the old version.

 

I already have it deleted, I'm not thaaat dumb.

 

1: Disable all mods and close BeamNG.
2: Remove this mod entirely out of your mods folder.
3: Remove any other older Oldfullsize versions out of your mods folder.
4: Delete the vehicles folder under the main cache folder.
5: Put this latest version back into your mods folder.
6: Start up BeamNG and re-enable mods.

If above steps fail to resolve the issue you will need to repeat the above steps and then
delete the mod from your downloads folder and re-download the mod.

The idea here is to have a fresh and standalone copy of this mod to start with.

 

I had the same problem the new mod has a new name and I had a old version deep in my mods folder so check very thorough

 

I like that engine a lot too, but there is some tricks you can try like putting welded diff in with lower gear ratio. Allthou, manual box would make the biggest difference.

How did you managed to get it working? I've followed all the instructions too. Is the upcoming Hotfix going to fix this?

 

Interesting, I Don't know what that Common folder is or what it does. can someone help me out with this. I need the wagon for maximum assholeness, if that is even a word.

I figured out what I was doing incorrectly. I forgot the "oldsfullsize_codename.zip" file. Time to cut people off in my wagon.

 

Missing pollys behind the rear seats on the drivers side in the Caprice wagon.

 

I think you forgot to add vinyl roof to Caprice?

i didn't forgotten them, i didn't had time to do them untill now. We'll see what future can bring to it ?
Maybe you'd prefer have the mod in three month and not now ? This is only v1.5.

Also Caprice coupe is not planned at all. Delta 88 is.

So as the 1980 official pacecar was a Pontiac Trans Am, this is a custom unofficial 1980 pace car.
This is not exactly a 1977 regency coupe, so this is a nonsense preset, also i liked the 77 graphism and was happy to do it this way.

 

Any plans for an old full size scenario or campaign pack?

also, I have a question. why is this still an addon pack? I made the mistake of only downloading the "oldfullsize_codename" file to find that there was only one configuration of one car. who wouldn't download the addon?! so if everyone will download it anyways, whats the point of making you download two files?

 

Is it only me, or does radiaton and suspension have yellow color? Maybe I installed it wrong?
