there is a remaster for this mod currently in progress so the current version is most likely no longer supported
oh fuck yes!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! wen
By the way I would be cool to have it where there are different commands for the tailgate because I sometimes get confused. --- Post updated --- Also I would like a Oldfullsize SUV
I haven't posted a progress update in a while so I'll show what we have so far now that there has been some significant progress. This is the state of the cars now, showing only the reworked parts: All the changes that I remember: We merged all the model files into 1 blend file, and started separating it again into individual files, but in a way that it makes sense and will be easy to find everything Textures are also moved to folders that make more sense, materials converted to json to make a PBR conversion easier in the future (we are probably not going to convert it to PBR ourselves, at least not yet, way too much work) Reworked the slots system completely in terms of suspensions. No more duplicates of suspensions between different frames. All suspensions use the same differentials, brakes, wheel hubs and stuff Fixed wrong transmission ratios and final drives Front final drive selection is now the same as the rear one Removed broken air suspension and some things that make zero sense like the 6 speed manual drag transmission (???) Replaced brake discs with vanilla models which look way better Tow hitch model made accurate to real life and there is no need for a separate wagon tow hitch variant anymore Universal wheels, Oldsfullsize wheels can be used on any car, no more separate wheel hubs Added unused fully body colored Super Stock wheels to parts selector Oldsfullsize wheels use the same tire selection as the vanilla wheels of the same size and the custom tires were moved there Tweaked the rear hubs to fix some vanilla wheels breaking off on them Fixed a bug where spawning some other mods and then this one would mess up the rear offroad suspension visually Reworked the tires to use the updated friction simulation like vanilla cars have Tire pressure increased to a realistic value Hubcap Jbeams now actually fit the shape of the hubcaps Instead of having worn out wheels and tires as separate models, made the worn out paint part of the derby wheel color selection Optimized file size by removing many unused/broken or easy to replace textures Fixed some UVs on model parts Renamed a lot of stuff in tuning menu to be in line with vanilla cars Fixed a rare bug where the tuning menu would not let you apply changes More fixes to the engine model and materials Definitely a lot more stuff that I completely forgot because it's been such a long time now
