Yeah indeed You didn't got the joke Aerohead. I just told that people complaining about my mod being sooooooo difficult to install should try to install a GTAV mod and make it work, just to have something really difficult to compare to, that's it.
The download doesn't work. Whenever I try to download this it just downloads this one shown in the image.
I know i asked before at one point, just checking if it will be a possibility to have your custom wheels on the regular 5 lug beamng cars? They are really well made and would love to use them on other cars
The repository download only gets the base model. For all the other variants, you need the Addon Pack, which is linked in the first post of this thread (in pink, for easier finding)
I love this, its the pinnacle of automotive history Two big fixes though: a 6,2 and 6,5 diesel (with turbo and supercharger options? ) and the transmision, please fix that becasue i cant cruise becasue the tran. wont shift until rev.lim. And for some reason the engine light is lit whilst dieselng. Some qorqes to ad?: diesel glow sequence + glow light. auto leveling/air-bag leveling for the high-jackers. Strait exahaust sound for the diesel? GearVendor overdrive? Keep up the good work / Tiny F@
Thanks for the detailled feedback. Right now i'm working on bringing back better engine sounds. Stock and race engine will have the vanilla moonhawk sounds again, maybe customised for more loud idles. The rusty car dying engine sound was remade successfully for Fmod by Synsol, so this is something i'm happy about, but the diesel sound is still a struggle for now. I may need to record my own Oldsmobile diesel engine to have all the range of revving sounds. Also i noticed the cars are now more solid since the last release. I used a little trick to reduce deform values on all the cars without doing it on the huge and overwhelming amount of parts available, it was a global trick, but it seems to not work anymore because of a game change. I'm investigating, but i'll certainaly have to modify all the jbeam manually which is a pain. 6,2 and 6,5 engine could be interesting to add, major problem is to make a good mesh and textures fitting the mod properly, which represents some work. Anyway, always trying to keep the mod updated as it's always popular it seems Thanks to all for the support and feedback
Does anybody have any lags while being in vehicle config of Regency or in other car, when Regency is nearby? It's extremly frustrating, changing wheels takes me 5 minutes on a pretty decent computer. Where is my propriety... I'd like to thank You, author, for that incredible, amazing and breathtaking mod. I'm in love with boxy-american cars, maybe 3/4 of my total gameplay is driving or in presence of Regency or Caprice. Good job!
Thanks for the kind words Bacoon, i appreciate your feedback. I've never heard about this part selector issue, i know the mod is intensive, but not to this point here. I'll update it with some few little improvments. The Regency has a lot of beams and nodes, but also a lot of flexbodies (different meshes used for one part like the body for exemple) and i wasn't aware it has a cost in performance in 2015-2016. And to add more performance use, the fact i did the quickly restored rusty car added more problems because i had to separate all the parts that are painted to let the material change work. So i'm just now making duplicates meshes for this Magic Car sale experiment, so that i will be the only one with so much flexbodies. But even after that, it will remain intensive, it would need a lot of rework to make it more optimised.
man its nice yesterday i installed it and i used these cars for like 50 minutes (until i went outside) but very nice mod even the lightbars like when the glass on the light bars are destroyed the lights inside stop moving but are still on. very realistic
Thank you so much! I totally did not expect you do keep making the mod better (If that was even possible) Cant say enought how much this mod is appreciated
Thanks to you too Well the mod needs to be updated with the game improvments, so it's much a question to keep it up to date rather than really make it better For exemple since the last update, the front grill of the Regency is moving or popping out just when driving. Thats's one thing i've noticed, but they are some exemple like that. The words that you quoted though are talking about a separated mod with wheels for all cars, i copy here the screenshots i posted in community screenshots some days ago : Of course Oldsmobile logos will be removed. I didn't had time to work on it but it will be out quite soon
