When I tried to load the map after I just installed it, it crashed my game before I spawned in. It said something about a missing file. Idk what's wrong.
Unpack mod or try to download it again. You can take a screenshot when your game is crashed. It's also possible that this mod colides with other your mods.
You said that it needs powerful PC. I have Dell 7567 gaming laptop, will it work? Intel i5 7300 HQ quad core 2.5 ghz (3.5 ghz turbo) Nvdia 1050Ti 4GB 8 GB DDR4
I have literally the same laptop as you, and I have Beamng maxxed out, and this map runs like butter!
I have 16GBs but i still run out of ram every time I try to run this map. Anyone know why this might be happening? --- Post updated --- Nevermind I found my problem.
What's your system hardware specification? Example, CPU, RAM amount, video card, operating system? If you have 8gb or less ram, you may have a RAM issue, close other things out first especially web browser, itunes, etc. This map needs about 5~6gb of system ram free when I last checked (people have the same issue on my Roane County map, too, as it takes the same amount of RAM to run).
100%, yes CPU is a I7 975 XE, 8GB RAM, Grafic Card is a R9 280x OC TRI X and OS is Win7. Roane County works without problems.
My new fav map by far. Just the size of it is overwhelming. Its not much more than fields and roads just like where i live The racetracks are well made and fun to drive on. Also since the Speedsign bug is fixed it so much more enjoyable! One of the best custom maps of all time
Hrmmm that's rather ODD, you should be able to run this, and my map. Chances are you have enough RAM to run my Roane County map, but not the 500~800mb more to run this one (from the sounds of it). Do you know how to take a screenshot of your task manager without the game open? Also, consider, posting your beamng.drive log, in a private message to either @primo3001 or myself - and one of us will get back to you. I don't know if Primo can read logs well or not (likely can seeing as the map works here well enough), but I can certainly read logs here. How to do this log thing? You would try to load this map right after starting the game up, and then when it crashes out, browse to the following folder: Documents\beamng.drive\beamng.log file (it might look like a text file), take this file LOG, and attach it to a private message. I can then tell you if it's an out of RAM crash or it's another type of crash. If it's another type of crash that I can't seem to figure out, i'll invite one of the devs to have a look @ the crash (we don't directly get mod support at this stage of development, but it can be useful in tracing hard-to-catch errors).
If you're running the 32-bit version of beamng.drive that would explain it, but if it's the 64-bit version and you can load my Roane County map (which requires more ram, not less that i mentioned previously) then, it's either a mod incompatability there or it's just a Beamng.drive engine bug. There seems to be more of them around in 0.11.derp than I care to mention. So much so, that I've actually halted map progress for the most part on my work. My sanity can't take it.
