You can easily edit the FPS counter off with PAINT.NET, since it has a white background. Just use the color picker and then use the box tool. Can you give me the uncompressed version, I want to use it as a wallpaper.

 

This thing is indestuctible...

 

How can we lock all 8 wheels together? If we could do this, it would be unstoppable.

Edit: I could delete this, but in case anybody else has the same question the answer was hit Q to switch to manual. In addition, I tripled the power and it is unstoppable! Love it.

 

Hey so, I discovered a glitch, if you hit the bottom of the antenna hard enough it will shred the tires and kill physics. Just so you know, most likely not fixable though :/

 

Hi Reactor_4aec, I have created a mod of your BTR-80, which includes more powerful versions of it, like a racing variant, an offroad variant (I know that doesn't really make sense, since it already is offroad) and a crawler variant.
Is there any possibility that I could upload it somewhere and credit you as the original maker?

Yes, feel free to post them right on this thread, or I guess the Mods and Skins section would be fine as well. Let me know if you put them somewhere other than this page, I am interested in seeing these mods.

 

I have found two bugs. First bug is that when the special controlls don't work like the turret and the things that are shielding windows aren't moving. Second bug is kinda rare and common: the speedo meter doesn't work. And weirdly enough the tires don't explode when spawning this awesome creation.

There is an issue(?) though, you have to have the original mod installed, otherwise, for some reason, it has no texture...
The configurations are in a separate zip, I have no idea to make them selectable in the vehicle selector...
Put the configuration files in Documents\BeamNG.drive\vehicles\BTR80_Modded, so create a new folder in there called BTR80_Modded.

For some reason mine does not float and the turret only spins right. Do you have any suggestions? Other then that, this amazing!!! Wow!

 

I think this mod looks really cool, but I was wondering where the green download button is, because I really want this mod in my game.

To everyone else: I know this BTR needs a lot of updates, and that many features don't work correctly now. I plan to completely overhaul this mod maybe this summer when I have more time, but no promises. Hopefully I will be able to fix all the functions and custom sounds, improve the jbeam, correct the materials and make the camo colors optional skins.

 

Honestly even with some parts not working this is still a really fun mod to play around with.

BTR doesn't work after 5.4 update. Sad, this was my favourite mod:/
