An issue that's been around for me for a long time, I'd like a dev response at this point.

I just thinking, This is like if you bought a stolen car, and she doesn't work, so you ask to the original owner to help you fix it ...
It's amazing that people help you, don't ask for more, if you want to play with your stolen/broken/low quality mods it's your problem, don't ask for help. And the worst is that you accusing the game to causing your problems of your problem wtf dude, And Dev aren't responsible of the mod which aren't on this web site, so don't thinking that they gonna help you.

 

I mean, to each his own, but I personally enjoy off roading themed mods... and so far I cant find many on this site. My previously favorite mod (its actually on this site) was a toyota hilux mod. It had a load of variants of the hilux, everything from crawlers to prerunners/ trophy trucks. Back on topic:
As others have said some older mods don't work anymore due to updates to the game. Sorry. Also please use mods from this website.

 

Try reinstalling the game, make sure everything works, then put mods back, or clear the cache.

 

Users can use whatever mods they want, they just can't expect support with mods from anywhere but here. They also can't blame the community or devs when a mod from another site breaks their game, or their PC.

 

How do I remove my own post then? It was obviously a mistake to ask the community about my personal issues with the game.

 

The real answer to your question is that the game is in alpha state and features are constantly being added, changed, removed, etc and mods made a month ago or more are very likely to not work. Especially since most mods from third party sources are designed to be extracted, a semi-recent version removed the ability to have extracted mods except for when you're developing them, so they won't work at all.

Drivelines are getting an overhaul in the next update so it's likely I'll have to rewrite a lot of my mod to be compatible. Most outside mods don't get those sorts of quick updates

 

The problem is that you are using mods from other sites that have jbeams ripped from stock cars meaning they won't deform correctly and will act like the standard game cars. The BeamNG mod repository has mods that are constantly updated to make sure they work and are of the highest quality, just look at Variety Mod or the RG Sandstorm.
