Hi Folks! Discovered BeamNG.drive the other day - love at first site So I had to order the alpha version... I'm into racing/auto-sims since the old C64 days (see footer ) and Revs (did an article for Lotek64 about this gem by Sir Geoff - german language only - sorry). Went on with GP1 + 2, GPL, Carmageddon 2, rFactor, pCars, etc. Will enjoy BeamNG while waiting for the new Carmageddon game A little bit too much "rubber like car physics" for my taste (feels not like a solid car here and there) - but hey - it's still fun anyway Somehow good old Carmageddon 2 had this real (heavy) car feeling, btw What I've seen so far in the forum (mods and stuff) is amazing. Hope I get my Thrustmaster RGT Wheel to run with BeamNG - will use my gamepad so far... Greetings from Hamburg Lutz
all the mods are free so just download em and see if you like them i guarantee that those games you listed don't hold a flame to beamng in terms of accuracy... I don't know what you mean by "rubber feel" though
I like the d15 and the covet. The desert map by kimmykix, insane testing by insanegaz, grid 2 by SirEmrys, Extreme Off Road by qingu8, and Industrial are some of my favorite maps. Industrial comes with the game
Hi I found out if you press Shift + B you will turn off dynamic steering. It makes the car slide less when turning.
