    issue time (lol)
landing hard on the back slope of the chassis causes the motor to break and the tank to explode. when both engine and fuel tank go, the front axle disappears

The version you're testing is 3.0 RC1 (Release Candidate 1).

We have numerous improvements and fixes implemented in response to your feedback, and those will be included in the next, RC2, beta.

The body actually lends itself fairly well to this sort of thing, it hides imperfections pretty well and has a lot of spots to blend in patch jobs.

Don't know about the others just yet, it really depends on how much they vary from the existing body, might be able to pull off a skeleton. :)

and could the next body panels to be able to fall off be the beds of the various bodies (3 panels)?

Yes. Unless we decide to skip RC2 and to aim straight to a public release.

I don't want to derail the thread, but I'd like to give you a friendly reminder that the people working on this mod chose to do this in their free time and nothing annoys me more then when someone feels so entitled that they want to rush them. It's always bothered me when people asked when something was going to be released. Being rushed does not making anything go faster.
    Patience is a virtue.

    Don't worry. It's fine. :)

RC2 was meant to be a second test version including the fixes to all the issues reported earlier. He was just asking if the beta group was going to test the revision as well. :)

more fragility issues. this time on tires. but i think i know why: is it because of the simulated planetary systems? having them in gives 2 points of failure (see pic 1, showing the 2 types of wheel snapping: whole system, then wheel only).
the flag is stretchy. if you respawn a truck with the flag attached close to a wall, the flag will get stuck. it will stretch and even pull the truck back to the wall if you let it (see pic 2)
(pic 3 unrelated. i was impressed i broke it in such a way to land on the broken suspension and keep the rest of the truck level)
