RC2 is available for download. What's new: - Fixed various breakGroups bugs. - Tierods can now break/detach indipendently. - Steering knuckles can now break off more reliably. - Retuned threshold for breakage of most breakable parts. - Improved front clip latches for select trucks to prevent rattles/flickering. - More realistic node weight and drag coefficient for flags. - Improved body texture for El Toro Loco (Yellow). - Reworked custom sound table. - Transport wheels (with working parking brake) are available as alternate rim options. Known issues: - Flags are still glitchy. - Due to a bug in the game powertrain code, transmission may become unresponsive for a couple of seconds when one or more wheels are detached. This is caused by the current design with double axleBeams, which allows for more detailed breakage of parts but is now being reconsidered in the light of this discovery.
when i try to spawn anything, it's invisible. even after clearing cache. i do still have the old grave digger and bigfoot separate files installed. i will remove them and see if it changes anything --- Post updated --- nope. removing the separate trucks didn't change anything.
I can't see the supercharger instrument on your screen, meaning the truck is failing to spawn. Possibly a botched upload, sorry, I had to do it from my office this morning (blackout at home caused by storms) and couldn't verify it.
same situation with the engine and fire. land hard on the back and engine breaks from where i started, i turned a little left, jumped and made sure my back wheels caught the lip of the jump, forcing the truck to roll. very easy to do
Of course it does. The engine catches fire, and all of your fuel explodes. How would the truck still move?
I know, it's now impossible, the ruptured tank explodes and disables the engine, like with official vehicles.
works fine now! after some quick testing, this is much more robust than RC1, meaning the suspension no longer commits suicide after landing a slightly off center jump. i'm not seeing any issues with randomly bursting into flames either. one thing i noticed is that the flag sometimes randomly pops off after hitting nothing. that's about it.
ok scratch that. hard rear impacts still cause fires. this time without any damage to anything else required (note the lack of any damage here)
