Update RC3 available: - Various adjustments to damage and fire simulation. - Firestone Tires: revised tires parameters to prevent rim deformation on impacts. - Working RII lights. Both Red (Right Channel) and Yellow (Left Channel) are available from the Vehicle Customization Screen. - On-screen Input Maps. - RetroBigfoot Hot Wheels: this paint scheme now makes use of specular maps for metallic paint simulation. - RetroBigfoot Hot Wheels: new, solid white rims. - RetroBigfoot Hot Wheels: fixed dithering in the front bumper. - New Yellow paint scheme for Zombie (texture by @acapaldi). - New Red paint scheme for El Toro Loco (texture by @acapaldi). - El Toro Loco (Yellow) now uses a new and improved texture by @acapaldi.
The small amber spotlight you can see here. RII stands for Remote Ignition Interruption. It's a radio controlled device used to shut off the engine remotely in case of an emergency. When it's active, either the red or the yellow RII lights are on. The two colors are for the two different channels the device can operate on.
so an hour and a half later and tis available. i saw a glimpse of the notes when you posted them. lol
Uploaded from home, had to hide the thread because I had to leave in order to return to work but the notes weren't done yet...
Oh, ok. This has been kind of a troubled release, I thought I had fucked up the four links in the process. Glad to hear you like it, 4 links can snap out of place (but can't come off completely), as part of the massive revision to breakGroups in 3.0.
That's likely just an impression. No major changes were made to the drivetrain, other than some small adjustments to friction for smoother power delivery.
Did you ever fix the glitch on the the BKT tires (haven't tried on all of the tires) where on certin hard tire pops the wheels breaks and falls off when you stop.
Yup, some basic thermals are in place, next "big" thing we want to implement is full thermals and exhaust simulation.
Quick bug report: - Yellow zombie standard seems to spawn without a texture or arms, armless version is working fine. (tried clearing cache, don't believe there is any conflict going on as the only mods I have enabled are some maps and the new version)
Doesn't appear to be, I thought so too, right now the only mod I have enabled is the CRD. Just to be sure I've removed my addon from the mods folder all together. Can anyone load up the scheme and see if theirs is working? Edit: Okay I might have found it, scheme is selectable from the parts menu,
Works here. By the screenshot you posted before, looks like the game is failing to load the whole skin (hence the arms are missing). Let me check the materials file. --- Post updated --- Can you post the code of your local .PC file? Mine is correct: Code: { "vars":{ "$damp_rebound_R":6500, "$tcase_overdrive":1.1, "$frontdiff_gears":3.2994, "$frontplanetary_gears":4, "$damp_bump_R_fast":5400, "$spring_F":12500, "$tirepressure_F":10, "$transgear_1":2.1111, "$damp_bump_R":3500, "$transgear_2":1, "$snrideheight_F":1.09, "$transgear_R":-2.1111, "$spring_R":15000, "$damp_knee_F":2.4, "$tirespring_R":602, "$tirespring_F":602, "$tirepressure_R":10, "$reardiff_gears":3.2994, "$gearratio":2.3202, "$damp_bump_F":3600, "$damp_knee_R":2.4, "$snrideheight_R":1.09, "$damp_rebound_F":5700, "$steeringrate_F":1, "$rearplanetary_gears":4, "$pressure":2.097, "$damp_rebound_F_fast":7800, "$damp_bump_F_fast":5400, "$damp_rebound_R_fast":7800 }, "format":2, "model":"CRD", "parts":{ "CRD_planetaries_F":"CRD_planetaries_F", "CRD_transfer_case":"CRD_transfer_case", "CRD_steering_R":"CRD_linked_steering_R", "CRD_riichannel":"CRD_riichannel_right", "CRD_towhitch":"none", "CRD_flag":"none", "CRD_wheels_F":"CRD_wheels_F", "skin_Zombie_body":"CRD_skin_Zombie_Yellow", "CRD_differential_R":"CRD_differential_R", "CRD_tire_F":"CRD_tire_bkt_F", "CRD_wheeldata_R":"CRD_wheeldata_R", "CRD_fueltank":"CRD_fueltank", "CRD_transmission":"CRD_transmission", "CRD_supercharger":"CRD_supercharger", "CRD_wheeldata_F":"CRD_wheeldata_F", "CRD_swaybar_F":"CRD_swaybar_F", "CRD_driveshaft_R":"CRD_driveshaft_R", "CRD_differential_F":"CRD_differential_F", "CRD_wheels_R":"CRD_wheels_R", "CRD_chassis":"CRD_chassis_type_A", "CRD_swaybar_R":"CRD_swaybar_R", "CRD_steer":"CRD_steer", "CRD_planetaries_R":"CRD_planetaries_R", "CRD_driveshaft_F":"CRD_driveshaft_F", "CRD_steering_F":"CRD_steering_F", "CRD_engine":"CRD_engine", "CRD_body_type_A":"CRD_body_zombie", "CRD_tire_R":"CRD_tire_bkt_R", "CRD_suspension_R":"CRD_suspension_R", "CRD_suspension_F":"CRD_suspension_F" } } Possibly an outdated config?
Yep you're right, an outdated .pc file does seem to be it! One of my personal .pc files was conflicting with the one in the mod, I've deleted my personal .pc files and it's working fine. Sorry for the scare!
