Both engine and transmission are adjustable. Current stock power and torque ratings are spot on. Top speed right now exceeds the record top speed set by Raminator by quite some margin, and the truck can even climb over vertical obstacles with ease.
Just a heads up: next update (will probably upload it tomorrow in the morning) will break all add-on packs.
Update will include some reorganized parts and materials (see picture). To get your pack working properly, you'll need to update your materials file and redo presets to include the new parts.
You're telling me, I just finished materials and presets for all 60 configurations included in the main mod...
https://beamng.com/threads/paint-jobs.33370/ --- Post updated --- not going to happen. unless if someone is willing to do the J-beam work for the bodies, F2YS just wants the hoods of every body
There's that, and the fact that there's not really a way we could realistically simulate the way the body should break in BeamNG. The fiberglass doesn't break apart the way it does it real life, and it just wouldn't look that great, to be honest. Factor in the questionable stability, and it all adds up to that it's just not doable right now.
sorry, just trying to state a reason why you don't want to. now about that update, can you post what has changed that will make add-on packs break?
Yeah noobs, Leave F2YS the awesome mod dev who should be rich to make mods. I'd like to see you make a better mod than this. --- Post updated --- I am ready for excaliber too,
- Exhaust headers are now separate parts. Previously created presets would spawn withouth headers, which causes a Fatal Vehicle Exception since the exhaust chain is incomplete. This is still WIP, so it might not make it into the next update yet. - Part names for both front and rear rims changed: old presets would spawn withouth wheels. - Some materials were renamed (the existing rim, in particolar), which might limit the functionality of custom skins/skin packs.
would ONLY affect 1 skin of mine and that would Smokin' Bull, with the rim color. and this is why I DON"T use presets.
