I believe the site itself was having issues with that, not much we can do really. I know there were people I accepted into the group that haven't been able to do that either.

No, I locked it because it was being spammed. I usually lock it again while I'm uploading updates to the main file, which is quite big and takes about 50 minutes to complete from here.
but could we get away with using real bodies and the chassis on the repository? or are you gonna do like @SergentFido did with the oldsfullsize mod and have it be a HUGE add-on?
Bodies will be offered separately, likely in single packs. Since demand for this feature was huge, we may take the chance to introduce breakable bodies. Each of them will be released when ready for deployment, in the following months. The ancient F150 will probably be dropped. While downloads will be managed through the repository + forum thread, the group will return to its original function, a private dev-group, minimizing the impact of the broken group system.
New beta, I seriously doubt this mod will ever reach its "final" stage, so much stuff we want to do with it! It will be the last beta released as a full pack. If the mod is approved to the repository, it will come as a bare chassis + optional bodies offered as separate addons starting with the next release.
wouldn wouldn't that be a bit annoying with downloading 20-30 individual 10mb files? (since the mod is over 200mb now!)
It will probably be replaced by a better body mesh. Priority is being given to the best for each chassis options: that means, the Raptor body for the standard CRD and Grave Digger for the 2nd gen. chassis. Updating all the bodies will take some time, so their reintroduction to the mod will have a span of weeks/months.

They're actually quite different. Anyway, expect no new bodies for a while, while breakable bodies are being worked on.
