Could have used the Node/Beam Info app for the same results. Weight was back up since the introduction of the new Powertrain System, due to the massive strengthening necessary for the truck to be compatible. --- Post updated --- It must be ancient. Drivetrain became incompatible since the introduction of the center diff. Legacy drivetrain code of the original version still works today.
We could successfully isolate the problem, a proper fix, though, is still in the works. Meanwhile, you can use this hotfixed engine file. It's based on a preliminary, barebone version of the drivetrain. Some further improvements we added upon this now don't work anymore. Doesn't drive all that well, but at least you can control the vehicle.
Right. You're using RC8. Gimme a moment, I'll upload a compatible file. --- Post updated --- Here, this should work.
Acceleration is painfully slow, but the truck can reach insane top speeds now... Also, LSDs kinda suck, I'll inspect the code tomorrow with fresh eyes. Now I need to sleep. It is. Oh well, I kinda expected it... So glad I haven't submitted it to the repository yet...
Can you imagine what that thread would look like right now!!! "It duznt work" "wensit gonna be fixed" hahHhahah Get some sleep!
oh, that's why my vehicle selector fixed itself, I had the Beamo's expansion and that broke my vehicle selector, then an update came and I still didn't spot the Hopper in game so I thought my game didn't update, it did, glad to hear it's working again, in the time it took me to figure this out, I built an Ibishu Hopper crawler just so I had something to crash to take my anger out
I downloaded the "preliminary version" of the engine's jbeam, and I noticed that the truck bogs off from a dead stop (That part I believe I had read), and it overheats a lot quicker. Any reason to this? Maybe this has something to do with the hotfix (0.9.0.1) that came out?
the new game update bricked the motor. that new engine file is a temporary hotfix. you can make it faster by upping the supercharger and shortening the gear ratios all around. wont help with overheating. not sure when a more permanent fix will be out, but i'm sure f2ys is working hard on it! --- Post updated --- well... up the supercharger and shorten all the gears, and it seems to be basically the same as pre-update as far as i can tell from this bit of testing.
how fast is the truck suppose to go because the truck feels slow, and it has nothing to do with my cpu --- Post updated --- truck report, truck shakes
