The problem is that for me both two-sections and three-sections are working. As far as I can tell, the way it is implemented is not so compatible with other mods. Could you guys name bus related mods you have? I guess I have to do some cross-testing before a next release.

@ProGamer960M how about selecting the frame in the parts menu, instead of giving it a terrible "review"!

@slysenko great work so far, but i would shorten the rear part by one window (between rear doors and articulated part), it looks quite long compared to a real one

Thanks! I'm planning to add "electric power" to all sections, making driven and steered axels, and making three sections (front, middle, rear) as independent vehicles, to allow building even longer "trains"

To put second pair of "articulation floor" into bi-articulated version, I need these 13 beams:

    //Articulation floor
    {"beamPrecompression":1, "beamType":"|NORMAL", "beamLongBound":1, "beamShortBound":1},
    {"deformLimitExpansion":1.2},
    {"beamSpring":300000,"beamDamp":2000},
    {"beamDeform":30000,"beamStrength":225000},
    ["shw","she"],["shw","shn"],["shw","shs"],["she","shn"],["she","shs"],
    ["afr3ll","shw"],["afr3ll","shw"],["afrf","shw"],["afrr","shw"],
    ["afr3ll","she"],["afr3ll","she"],["afrf","she"],["afrr","she"],

But, in the bi-articulated version, there are already something like 9994 or something beams, so I'll need to define less needed eight beams and remove them.

I'm imagining a long BRT bus or even a high-floor rubber-tyred metro with doors on both sides!

Great idea! Thanks for sharing this neat mod.
    1. The node & beam limits have been increased by 50% in the v0.13 update: Increased max nodes limit from 2000 to 3000 and max beams limit from 10000 to 15000
    2. The v0.13 update also changed the door opening mechanism for the DT40L and I'm afraid that it has broken the door opening when using your mod. Wentward DT40L: New door opening mechanism
    3. It would be nice if you added one or two configs so that we can jump from the vehicle selector directly into an articulated bus. :D This would also be important for getting the bus loaded into time trials or bus routes (if the bus routes are changed to allow mod buses in the future).

Please keep the mod alive! It's very intresting. Currently the doors are broken and smoke isn't shooting out of the right place. I noticed if you play withthe doors the bus wont move anymore. But very happy

I agree that this project should go on, but it's truly the Devs choice

    Hey!

Just downloaded the mod but it seems there is a problem for me. The mod doesn't appear in the game. I can see that the mod installed in the mod section but when I come to vehicle configuration section I can't see the options about frame.

Tried everything possible (deleting all other mods, uninstall and reinstall the whole game) but that didn't work :) Is there any other possible solution?
