You know I never had a English Muffin (that is what we call Crumpet in the states) but made like a bagel pizza
English muffins are SLIGHTLY different to crumpets see the first pic for a muffin and the second one for a crumpet. Note how the muffin is more of a light, bready dough and the crumpet is more of a thick, almost pizza dough consistency and of course, muffins are nice and crumpets aren't. Surprisingly not many English people like crumpets
(serious) Do you guys eat spotted dick? And what exactly is custard and what does it taste like? I found some at the local grocery store in a can (Heinz) and i'm not sure whether or not it's good.
It feels like paste in your mouth because it has that gooey effect, overall it doesn't taste half bad.
spotted dick is almost like a carrot cake in texture and quite fruity. And yes, many people giggle at the fact it is called spotted DICK (hehe)
Do you like your countries food like it came from Heaven or it can be great but I mostly get cheap shit? (By the way fast food in America is cheap shit people buy because it's cheap)
Sometimes. Also, we still have McDonalds and Burger King, just not Wendys, Arby's etc. We have Krispy Kreme machines, but not stores iirc. As for British food, it's brilliant.
