    Thanks, I was always a bit confused about that.

    Is the automobile market the same as the US, or are there some European cars up there that we don't get down here?

    Mostly the same, but some american cars are re-branded for the Canadian market.

    In North Ontario the coldest it usually gets in winter is -30 degrees C and the hottest is about 35 degrees C

    For Southwestern Ontario, it can get to about 25 C in the summer, and with the windchill, it can get to -30 C in the winter.

    How often do you actually hear people say "Aboot"?

    and "eh"

    People say "eh" a lot, but only people with a strong canadian accent say "aboot"

    "Eh" might be a commonplace stereotype about us Canadians, but "aboot" sounds like an accent Newfoundlanders or "Newfies" as we call 'em have.
