What you are doing is just a mesh swap.
Your mesh must be centered in your 3D program, and origin points must be at 0,0,0.
Rotations must be applies before exporting.

    is it rotated in blender
    ?
iff it is not then you need to rotate it to the right direction

if you rotate the mesh in blender then apply the modifiers and when exporting as collada .dae click apply modifiers

Rotate the mesh, so it is rotated like it should be; press Ctrl + A, select Rotation & Scale, then on the left panel also check "Location" & export the file as .dae

I advice to not limit your change just to the visual part (usually not well received by many)
You would need to work on the physical side too, modfying the Jbeam to fit the new model, and tuning the engine/handling of the vehicle to match that model.
After all BeamNG.drive relies on physical realism, so you'd need to work on that too. Good luck!

Also you need to add materials! Unless you are keeping this mod to yourself you might want to do a lot more to it than just get the car in game. ;)
as nadeox1 said, It will be way better and more fun to use if you do more to it
