Asus PFLD2-VM supports core 2 quad?

    I Got a lot of free pc parts from and now i have built a pc With these specks:

    Motherboard=Asus PFLD2-VM
    Cpu =Intel Pentium 4
    Ram =4Gb hyperX ddr2
    Powersuply =Antec Neo He (500W)
    Gpu = nvidia gt 210 1gb

    So is there any way i can Upgrade the cpu to a core 2 quad?
    And if i Upgrade it can it run Gta 5?

    Minimum System Requirements if you look on steam is an q6600 and an NVIDIA 9800 GT 1 GB
    and my motherboard do have an 775 socket so i might be able to buy an New cpu , and when i think about it it can have my 750ti when i replace it

    You could stick a C2Q in there, not sure why you'd want to - it's still a very outdated CPU. And no, it won't run GTA5.

    That motherboard / chipset will only support a Core 2 Duo (and only if the pcb is R2.0). The best one being the E6700 which would cost you about $20. While it would be a sizable upgrade vs the Pentium 4 it probably wouldn't help at all with modern games and I wouldn't recommend it. And like BlueScreen said, no it will not run GTAV.
