Solved Attempt to call a nil value

    I am trying to create custom lua code for the oldsfullsize to simulate Cadillac's infamous 1981 cylinder deactivation, and I get this error when I try to load the vehicle:
    71.48726|E|libbeamng.Lua.Exception|vehicles/oldsfullsize//lua/powertrain/CombustionEngine.lua:431: attempt to call method 'checkIfReady' (a nil value).
    Uploaded the file, can someone take a look at it?

    you need to add that function to the device table line 1205
