The thing I'll want most in this thing is the acceleration. Make sure it accelerates fast like the real one. I love the sound of it too!
I would ask someone for help with textures. Also if that's the stock engine then the others should be pretty impressive!

Technically you can use an animated texture for that. Make a texture like this, then animated the UV using the game's material system (UV moves vertically). If there's no gap between every line, you can get a pseudo-dynamic-signal thing.
