Discovered in the late 1700s by Spanish explorers, Aurora Park is a beautiful land in the American Northwest. Settled in the early 1800s, it quickly became a very highly sought after territory during the Gold Rush. Some say the gold and the oil that come from these hills played a large role in the colonization of West Coast USA, a huge city to the south. When the natural resources were depleted, everyone left. All that remains today are the rotting structures and traces of an era lost, originally built on the American dream. Now being overgrown and forgotten along with being the roughest of the rough when it comes to terrain, the park has become an off-road paradise that only the baddest of trucks can conquer. I only placed them where needed and altered the terrain. I tried to make a natural feeling enviroment with decent cliffs and a dense forest, although not as dense as Jungle Rock. This is my first public map and is VERY Wip still, so please leave your thoughts along with any ideas you may have in the comments. Have fun and try not to bash the map too hard. Thanks for checking the map out, and Merry Christmas! Any and all are welcome to use this map as a server for BeamMP and/or alter it to their liking in any way.
For everyone wondering about file size, it's currently 2.4gb but I have already gotten that down to 1.64gb and confirmed it still works. Will be uploading that later on this evening. Also, there are a few rocks that don't have textures, the buildings have broken again, and there is a ton of little things that need fixed. Will update as regularly as possible. WAITING ON BEAM MODS TO APPROVE COMMENT WITH LINK!!!!!!!

Gave it a try, the size is killing my machine so will wait for the smaller file size. However the map was good fun, can't wait for the next updates. Keep up the good work.
I'm having issues uploading comments with drive links. I updated the map already, so the link above is dead. Getting an error about spam when i post a link in a comment or try to update the thread description. Here it is if it will comment with the link https://drive.google.com/file/d/1AN-7M7jvgGCWur5VOYYtuhD3MSHcNmaY/view?usp=sharing
this map blows my mind. with a little more work and maybe a shop would be cool and id probably spend all of my time on it !
I'll take that into consideration, but the map is made to be my interpretation of the deep, northwestern wilderness. Other than the mining and oil equipment and structures, I'll likely not add anything else to this map. BUT, I am working on Appalachia USA now. That will be very similar to East Coast USA but very different at the same time. It will have the same detail in terrain and everything as seen in this map, but will have asphalt roads and buildings.
awesome mod. i have a suggestion. Can you edit your first post to change the download link when that is an update?
