Holden sells the Malibu under the Holden name and Chevy sells the new Commodore under the Chevy name.
Chevrolet is a GM owned company. Holden is a GM owned company. GM sell alot of their cars under different manufacturer names in different countries. Opel Corsa C. Vauxhall Corsa C. 4th generation Holden barina. All 1 and the same car. Opel is the original, but Opel is owned by GM so GM sell it under the UK GM owned manufacturer (vauxhall) and the aussie manufacturer (holden). The holden commodore. Sold as a chevy SS in the USA, sold as a Vauxhall VXR8 in the UK.
And thats before the ute versions. Viva la burnout while travelling sideways at 140mph WITH A FUCKING COW IN THE BED. Utterly retarded you might say, but fuck it, its 140mph sideways with a cow in the back, ITS AWESOME
Just found that pic when browsing the interwebs. and then i found this. Who the fuck would put an useless utility bed on his camaro? You can't even put a cow on there! Also it looks bloody awful.
It looks awful yes. But it is rather convenient for unloading gravel, sand and dirt on some work sites. But you are correct, much harder to put a cow on there for the 140mph sideways animal transportation business and therefore the car should be burnt.
Is on the GM Zeta platform So is the Camaro Same undercarriage, possibly running gear. camaro. Also why would you want to haul gravel in such a low car? you would be better of hauling it in a trailer behind that with a stock bed.
Its a Commodore. If you would like to say different then please feel free to leave this thread and go and complain in General Discussion.
Not that i would have anything against it, perhaps except the steering wheel on the weird side, not planning to have anything against it unless GM decides to do it the GM style. The camaro holden thing is just a pun.
GM Zeta is basically the GM way of saying "holden designed this car, now go slap a camaro shell on it", the zeta platform was designed by Holden for the commodore, Chevrolet only later used it for the camaro.
Americans are smart, they know its not a Chevy so they're putting the original badging back on They disposed of the Golden Maxi Pad
if i ever bought a chevy ss, first thing i would do is replace the badges with holden badges, there's just something about a chevy badge on a holden commadore (that's what the chevy ss is, is the holden commadore) that seems really really wrong, not to mention looks strange
