What about the glorious glorious Holden Combo?

    (imported from here)

    No but seriously,

My Mum has an XR6. It's already had one full transmission rebuild.... costing $5000.

    Now has ignition switch issues.

    Realisation?

    New cars suck.

The combo is just a rebadged Vauxhall Corsa Van. But yeah, not sure whats wrong with your mums Falcon. They are generally very reliable cars

Hate those combo's only ever good for hairdressers and florists. I agree that though, new cars do suck and never liked newer falcons so deep down inside I'm laughing at that...... I'm sorry :p although those old falcons were great, especially Eric Bana's XB.

I have to say that despite being young my favourite of race car would would probably the old A9X Torana's. Something about them just said pure beast.

Dam, that is really sad. Its like a European car. Not Aussie. I guess it could be the whole "Ford One" influence. :(

I personally have to disagree the front end is just ugly to me and if that is the final ever falcon(With the fusion front and Jagish rear) its a terrible goodbye.... Hopefully they do something nice for Australian's before taking off. I am hoping Holden do something great before they leave too but with how GM are its fairly unlikely.

Drove one of those a couple months ago in that colour. Good power, but the only other remarkable thing about it is the terrifyingly sensitive steering. If I sneezed, I probably would've done a u-turn.

I think he pulled out of a side street and fishtailed, lost control, flipped over the curb and raped the tree.

The best ad from Ford Au imo. Wonder why they stopped advertising the Aussie Fords altogether?

Yet when you look at the cars, they are only Fords and Holdens. No big toys like Italy or Dubai. Lamborghini's, Bugatti, Asston Martin, Merc etc.

I remember seeing this on TV some time ago, I mainly remembered the song, especially after watching it again.
As Bob Dylan once sang, "Oh the times, they are a changing". This applies here, sadly...

I have always been a big fan of the Chrysler Valiants, mainly the E38's with 265 inline 6's. Especially those with the triple weber carburetors. The best thing about them is that they have instant power; no waiting for a turbo kick in.
