So I know the .3 hotfix is meant to fix these, but even after clearing cache, disabling all my mods, and even going as far as reinstalling the game on a clean install of Windows (since my previous install was trashed), the problems still persist. Those problems being park not working at all in any vehicle, as well as some shifting funk (full throttle and shifting from 2 to D makes the car fall flat on its face and seemingly have no power, as well as "normal" driving making the shifts act in a way I'd describe as shifting in a manual without letting off the throttle).

I'm not sure what is causing these problems, but for what its worth the manuals work fine.

If necessary I can record a video trying to show the problems, but it would likely be a cellphone video since OBS and my PC do not get along at all.

The parking gear issue is well known by now and everyone sees it. Besides that, I haven't noticed the automatics shifting in any weird way. Do you have some vehicle mods that could be causing it?

I can confirm auto transmissions shifting incorrectly. Particularly on the d-series, h-series, and roamer with the 6-speed and a low revving engine.
Rpms shoot up during shift, no throttle cut.

(Posted this in another thread but it seems relevent here)
have the same issue with all mods turned off. The only cars that seem to work are the HIrochi Sunburst and SBR4 and only if you come to a complete stop.
Cars that don't work include but are not limited to:
ETK K-Series (Turns on flashers when it comes to a stop in park but cant actually stay still)
    ETK I-Series
ETK 800 Series (Turns on flashers when it comes to a stop in park but cant actually stay still)
    Gavril Grand Marshal
    Gavril Barstow
    Gavril D-Series
    Gavril H-Series
    Gavril Roamer
Both models of the Ibishu Pessima
    Ibishu 200BX
    Ibishu Covet
    Ibishu Miramar
    Ibishu Hopper
    Bruckell Moonhawk
    Bruckell LeGran
    Burnside Special
    Westward DT40L
(so pretty much every car except the Hirochi)

Like I said, I have tried everything under the sun to try and remedy it but nothing works.

A video showing the 'funky shifting' would be useful to have.
(make sure you have no mods)

Here ya go. Sorry 'bout the fact that it's literally my phone recording my screen, but OBS + my PC = bad time

    I don't see what's wrong.
The automatic shifting takes in consideration how much you are pressing the pedal.

If you press it slightly, it will shift earlier and keep RPM low.
If you press fully, it will start shifting later, going closer to the red-line.

If you leave the throttle, and RPM goes too low, when you press it again, it will more likely shift down first, in order to raise the RPM.

The way it overshoots a bit when it has to downshift and sorta "hangs" when it upshifts in the 2-3 and 3-4 shifts aren't *really* that realistic. The actual shift logic is damn near flawless at this point other than that little quibble.

After some testing I found it was much more rare in this latest version. But it does happen in some cases, like in that video. When the vehicle is upshifting and the torque converter is locking the rpms seem to overshoot a bit on rare occasions with certain partial amounts of throttle.
For the most part it works very well and is very realistic.

I've seen real cars do that too on rare occasions, so maybe consider it fully realistic. :)

You make a good point. I've driven enough cars with very weird and/or rough shifting myself, not seen this particular behavior, but I believe you.

Man aren't you lucky. For me it happens on every car, regardless of config and how modded the game is. Only solution is the high stall converter, but that option is less-than-ideal for (what I think are) obvious reasons.

Seeing as we are playing the same game, it seems that overall game performance has an impact on this behavior?
    What are your specs/average fps?
Maybe I'll try slowing down my game with graphics and lots of cars to see what happens.

i3 3240 and an HD7570 at the moment, but 30FPS lock sees that they never get maxed out (at least on the maps I tend to play). For shits and tiggles I threw my GTX 480 in my usual desktop with a G3258 @ 4.6GHz (a whole lot faster than the i3) and it was the same story there even though it was 60FPS.

I think your problem is too much engine torque for the weak locking converters provided for stock vehicles.
Don't put large superchargers on engines and expect them to work with a locking converter with at max only 550NM of locking torque.
I have my own custom converter with an adjustable locking torque, and if I use the right values I don't get this behavior with powerful engines.

I still have this problem even with the 3.3 in the LeGran which is gutless, so I don't really think torque is the issue.

You are correct, I get excess rpms during upshift under partial throttle once the car gets to gear 3. I get no weird behavior under hard acceleration or before gear 3 hits.
The locking torque on this one is pretty low at 250NM but it should be enough for the 3.8 v6 at partial throttle.
Might be happening so the car doesn't stall or bog down below lockup rpm, seeing as it only happens at certain partial throttle levels for me.
I guess it is up to the devs to investigate further and solve any issues.

I have this issue on my automatic transmissions (custom - but using stock logic).

I sometimes notice the "P" having no lock to it, but usually it works
