Hi folks, quick progress update: I've fixed a majority of the jbeam issues, so that's pretty much done for now. Also, I realized I messed up a little while making the chassis textures and I had to re-bake them in slightly less detail, but now the interior carpets and plastic can (and will) be colored depending on the trim, rather than being the same yellowish white. I'll try texturing the lights and glass now, let's hope it won't be too hard!
Lights update: Restomod LEDs! Inspired by various led conversion kits and real car concept art. Other than that, the light models are pretty much complete now. I didn't have a lot of time this week to work on the car, so for now that's all the progress. Also, I'm going on a holiday, so no more progress for the following week aswell Now all that's left are the textures, glowmaps and the glass.
That would be very cool to be honest. How would you do that though? I’d assume in a similar way to how interior colors work, AKA you don’t have to change the underbody itself, just the texture. But I dunno, do it however you like, it’s your mod after all, and it’s a good one.
Uh oh! Honey, the leather is rusty! (Yes I know it wouldn’t be rust then, but it sounded funny so i’m going to post it anyway)
If I could choose, maybe a bit more worn out than that. That's just smudges and dirty carpet, I want cracked dashboard, busted gauge needles, and stuff in that realm.
My god! That’s amazing! Are you going to make a "tablet" and a digidash in the interior? (You don’t have to do that.)
A V6 isn't on my to-do list, but if all goes to plan (from my testing there's still a lot to do, don't get your hopes up just yet) then it'll have something just as sporty and unfit for a subcompact as a Busso
