awesome! do you have any current plans to update the mistral with the newer method of doing opening doors?
It uses the vanilla way of opening, with the doors and stuff being able to be closed with relative ease like all the other cars. Not sure, but I'll probably keep the old method. You basically want to have 2 nodes - one attached to the panel you want to open, and one to the chassis. You then copy the latch controller from some other vanilla car, pop in your latch node names in the "cid1" and "cid2" fields, and basically tinker around with the force and duration settings. The triggers work kinda like props when it comes to positioning, and the rest you should be able to figure out yourself. I'm not too good at explaining things, but I hope this helps somewhat!
The Hirochi Mistral, @Kajzer’s other car mod, has an older system of opening doors that they created themselves.
haha no. 1967 1,6l Fiat engine, the one in 125 produced 90hp in standard trim and 100 in special trim. in 1961 fiat offered a 1,5l engine with 75hp. Plus in-game Miramar offers a 95hp 1,6l engine, and that car is a decade older.
No, they are not. They are just the top end of what was realistic in that time period. The only dev car that is overpowered is the Bolide TopSpeed version. That thing would never be made street-legal, or offered to the general public. Everything else is well within the realm of possibility.
The Aria has roughly the same dimensions as the real 127 - 3.59m length, 1.6m width and 1.36m height, so it's 50cm shorter, 10cm narrower and 4cm taller. Honestly the engine's overpowered just for the sake of fun kinda like the Piccolina's. I know that realistically it should have like 10-15hp less, but that'd probably make it more boring to drive.
maybe it is a little too much to ask but is there a possibility for a 4x4 version? It would be a Fiat Panda 4x4 but 7 years earlier.
