I just noticed, though: when it spawns, the rear link holding the matress breaks off after a second or two. Is this normal?

 

Yes it is completely intentional to make it fly. I'm going to change that anyway.

 

i love drag racing so maybe a more drag racing focus like a 4 link suspension or a promod style config?

 

By adding proper wings?

Now that will be a great addition to this mod.

 

Right now drag race variants are enough.

Haha. I don't think that will happen because it's too difficult for me. But maybe that will happen.
