Autobello Piccolina

There should be also some different sets of lights and indicators.

Very early variants should have some parts that were there for only first few years of production. (maybe from a predecessor)
Just like very early variants of Fiat 600.



Later we could get some more modern versions of the car with less chrome, bigger headlights, different indicators, more modern bumpers, wing mirrors and suicide doors replaced with standard ones.



At the end of production design could be simplified with even less chrome, very simple front mask (and again there could be some parts from the successor)
Just like this licence made Zastava 850.

What are the lug options for this car? Is it going to be like the Pigeon, whereby we're stuck with just one or a couple wheel options, or will we be given the 5-6 lug spindles which will let us put pretty much any wheel on it?

 

i assume it would be more like 4-5 lug spindles, either way definitely interchangeable with every other wheel in the game

(not confirmed, just my assumption)

 

I doubt we will get anything beyond 4 lug hubs for this car. It is so small that it wouldn't be able to fit any 5 or 6 lug wheels anyways.

 

doesn't mean we won't get crazy mods

 

I'm just saying that the stock configurations probably won't. I would love to see @Crash Hard 01 make a "dune buggy" or desert runner variant of the Piccolina though, he makes some really good offroaders.

I almost wonder if the new GP Sand Star wheels are made specifically for the Piccolina - they're sized oddly for most other vehicles in-game, and come with heavily-treaded mud tires that (in theory) do well in deep sand.

It's plain to see that 4-lug wheels are going to be the norm for standard models for at least one generation of Piccolina - the new sets of wheels in the update erases all doubt - but I kind of wonder if we're going to see a custom Baja Piccolina with 5-lug axles.

 

I have a strong feeling we will. The devs said Italy will also have lots of rally tracks, so what better to drive on these new tracks with than a baja Piccolina?

 

When I saw them, I began suspecting that they were for an offroad variant of it.

I may be wrong about this, but I think that helps reinforce the idea that the Beetle was an inspiration for the Piccolina, since Beetles are notable for being modified into Baja Bugs.

Well, I also noticed that there are rally tires available for some of the Autobello wheels. It could be that we receive something a little more like this at first:

Well, they did say something along lines of extensive customization options of Autobello, so I would not be surprised that there would be gravel going version.

Now let's think about this for a moment

While we have a cars and trucks, we also have airfields, but no flying vehicles, so I'm getting strong vibes of big surprise being something flying, you getting what I'm getting, see, see, it is right there in cover pic?

Loving the Autobello rims > which are on the front. Sadly no other tyres except my stretched mod, but the rear type 2 rims have race, and sport. and i love the GP sand star rims, can we get them in a few more sizes they are beautiful.

 

If you look at the steering wheel closely, you can see that AB logo.

 

Same logo also appeared on new dog dish hubcaps for 13" 4 lugs rims.

 

Technically, it's similar, but isn't shaped the same.
