Look at my resource Opel manta. The cube is fixed, but for the bonnet: use a flat mrtal bumper (the small one) select body colour and put in on the bonnet, then make it a bit bigger so it's a cm bigger than the real bonnet because it'll get smaller. "fixed"
*WARNING HUGE PIC DUMP AND TEXT BOMB* So i decided to make pictures of all automation cars that i have made the last 2 weekends. So here they are and what they are: AIV Veloce the somewhat lowpoint of the make. It has nice handling but the engine isnt even by themselves its a version of the AVA 5 Cylinder. ACM Highwaystar this is the car you terrorise your neighbours with huge V8 and even more power than you could ever want the engine is still used to this day! MVC Nomad a small car with the same 3.5L V8 the Highwaystar had a mad sleeper with even mader handling! Model 1 dont know why i made it doesnt even have a proper name maybe i will finish it someday AVA 545i Turbo A huge lump of swedish steel with a nice turbo engine it was the perfect GT sedan of the time AVA 445i Turbo this is the car that your architect uses to get everywhere still reliable after 39 years of service! AVA 545 This car finally brought back the famous AVA nameplate it hasnt changed the basic formula of the 80´s even the engine is still based on the original 1975 version! MVC GP5 this fills in the 3 Big B´s Big Boring and Bland but at least you can haul your kids to school with it MVC GTSRX the opposite of the GP5 this beast of a car is just plainly mad its got a 5.2L V10 wich will rev past 11grand! ACM Raven this is your basic commuter car wich will bring you to work so you can one day afford a GTSRX FJI Icon basically the company car for companys that don´t need a Van its the car you abuse and forget about basically the rental car MVC Silhouette a way softend GTSRX wich can be used to travel long distances and still come out alive afterwards. MVHC 40 the airport rental and taxi of the 80´s this car was nearly as much crashed as it was built so you have a tough time finding one today
I have a Joke Car That is very fast. It is a Rally car that is Wrong. I´ll Post it here. Here is the Download.
Just some things I've done in the past two months or however long it's been. Some I'm not entirely happy with, but I like them overall.
all my cars are crap, ill post a convertible I'm gonna put in the repository once the mods finally get around to checking it the 2011 Blackburn Y11 Concept I have two more cars that are actually good coming up, watch out for them in the repository under automation. the y11 coupe was made late at night and sloppily so it's trash lol
I made an NSX that looks quite good. Also I would love it if someone could model the tail lights for me! I hate how I had to make them because I couldn't put lights on spoiler. I am still waiting on admin approval. Edit: The mod is now out.
Here is a guide on how to upload mods to the repository. Remember to set the category of the mod to Automation when uploading vehicles created in Automation and follow the steps in that thread.
Just wanted to ask, since there looks to be tons of Automation cars, does it still take as low as 2 days to process car mods from the team or is that time bumped a bit up? also the upload tutorial would need a bit of a step by step explanation of how the procedure is like. (not the how but the "after") example, i know what i need to do to send the file and minimal requirements BUT i do not know what to expect. for one i sent 3 cars and the posts they reside in, in my resource page are in a red rectangle and there is a blue shield icon with a question mark on it... i googled for info on those but nothing comes up. so for those who did upload cars, what can i expect at this point in time (if things changed for time expectation or if i messed up and have no clues) second, if a satisfactory explanation is provided to me, a little update to the mod upload help page would be nice! like on top of showing HOW to upload, a "what to expect" section to be added and 2 or 3 case based scenario, 1 for "all good but waiting", 1 for "all good and done ready to be downloaded by the masses" (passed review) and 1 for "failed by the moderators due to been rejected"... right now all 3 mods i sent are in a red rectangle so they looks like they have been rejected because of that BUT nothing says that they are... yet i do not know if they have been looked at or are in queue or potentially rejected... that also leaves the question of there is TONS of Automation cars since it is easy to pump them out so... maybe it takes time AND also i modded the settings in the jbeams on all of them since Automation default settings on many things just are wrong/inefficient. (LSD, ESC, gears, Jbeam hardness for bumpers making them break off if they even softly collide with a "speck of dust"!) here are the three i put up:
Thats means your mod doesn't approved yet, its not rejected. And make sure you has picture of your car(i recomend put front, and the rear) so people know what they about to download.
