Outdated Autron CVP (Discussions Thread) 1.6

I sadly feel like none of them will. They always use vanilla content for their speed records, and for some reason not many popular youtubers reviewed this mod, the only I recall is BeamBot.

 

The one on the screenshot is not a land speed record config, it's a regular race kart. It doesn't have a roof for reasons that it improves the flow and reduces weight.

BeamBot made the review on it when he was a very small channel, but after he gone popular the video is still not popular because it's simply a year old video. So i can't say that it's popular, even if it's made by (now) a popular youtuber.

I'm not mean , just confused

 

lower car "cuts" through air easier, thus the lack of roof and windshield. The windshield isn't really needed, epsecially if driver can just wear a helmet that is aerodynamic (f1 cars don't have windshields and they still have great aero)

Even though you asked SSRG for that, i'll probably try to answer in a simple way, i might say something wrong, but someone can say it correctly if i do, I'm literally new to that kind of tech some race customs do.

Basically, if you want to make the lightest racing car, you have to remove stuff from the car, and optionally, improve the aero on the car for the wind to easily pass through places where it was initially hitting the car, making it slowing down just a little bit, you just remove the windshield, roof, pillars, windows, passenger seats, and then putting a flat filler on top, it will allow the wind to easily go from the front of the car, to the rear, with no minor slowdowns due to the wind hitting the windshield.

One of the best examples of how it's really done is made by Gorgona Cars with a modified Mazda MX-5 NA, which not only did just what i (tried) to describe, but also tried to modernize it, by adding ND parts on it, with a 2.0L SkyActiv engine, and some bits of interior from ND, like the gauge cluster.

Soon enough i will upload this new update with that utility roadster in, as I finished polishing the update and fixing that "diesel carburettor" issue which was simple enough to fix (by removing it of course, bruh). I wanted to add more stuff, but that's probably for the next time.

I can actually reveal the changelog since it's not illegal for me to spoil what's exactly you'll see in this new update. I don't want you to waste your time to realize it might be small than you imagined or something else.

Anyways, here they are:

ADDED
-New model called "Utiron"
-New Utility Roadster body style. (Part of Utiron model)
-New parts specifically made for Utility Roadster. (Part of Utiron model)
-New roof rail part & slot for Offron body.
-New color (Military Green)
-8 Configurations

FIXED
-Inde door UVs... again.
-Diesel now has a proper intake slot rather than sharing the same intake slot with petrol engines (to put it simply, carburettor has been removed from diesel engines).

CHANGED
-Performance changes for 2.2 V6 and 2.7 V8 engines, as well as for 1.3 I4 Diesel and 1.4 I4 Diesel engines.
-Each interior has it's own indicator sounds.
-SM, SM+, RLM, RLM+ configurations now have painted bumpers.
-Improved model for front fascia used in electric models.
-Changed engine sounds for 1.4 SOHC I4 and 1.3 DOHC I4 engines.
-Updated thumbnails for SM, SM+, RLM, RLM+ and nearly all Offron configurations.

KNOWN ISSUES
-Utiron / Utility Roadster does not support any skins yet.

Even though this changelog literally leaks all detail about the update, you have to see it on your own, not just reading the text.

I'll upload the update soon after i'll take some pictures for the repository. With that said, wait for the automated message about the update later on, and i'll see you soon.

Also, question: will the prices be adjusted like what happened with all the vanilla cars? (They changed the prices from what the car would cost nowadays to what the car would cost while it was produced)

The prices are staying the same, the update was in development before 0.30, which resulted those vanilla cars get overpriced for used market system in career mode. This is also why Autron doesn't shows up in career mode, it's simply not supported for the career mode.

 

I’m guessing it’s because Autron isn’t a vanilla brand, kinda like how in KLJP the cars are available since they’re just configs for Ibishu/Hirochi (and the Zeniths are also Ibishu)
So to get the car in career mode, doing as little as changing the internal brand to „Ibishu” then buying the car then changing it back to „Autron” should be enough.
UPDATE: apparently the whole „vanilla brand” thing is me misinterpreting things, and I actually don’t know how the career mode dealership vehicle selection works

 

No it's not because of it being a mod, mod cars also show up in career mode. The thing is, all vanilla and some mod car configs have a string called "population" which is used by both traffic AI (if simplified traffic is disabled) and now in 0.30 is used by used car sale, the higher the number, more chance of getting it. All Autron configs don't have that string because one, i use simplified traffic and i'm not switching that off, and two, the only configs i would apply that thing on would 100% be USDM versions, cuz it's west coast in career mode, we can't travel just yet.
