Might not be the only case, but IIRC there was a 1.4L SOHC I4 and a 1.4L I4, 2 engines of the same capacity and (presumably since the second one was used in base 2000s versions) Overhead Cam thing. Might wanna rename them to something like 1.4L SOHC I4 (1992-1999) and 1.4L SOHC I4 (2000-2005)
yeah i should give a name to newer engines. I won't add years on them since... nobody cares about engine's production years.
--- Post updated --- theres multiple versions engines and its a bit confusing. theres a 1.9L I4 with 4 different versions for example “1.9L I4” “1.9L I4 SOHC” “1.9L DOHC” and “1.9L I4 Boostronic” ect. alot of the Inline engines have this naming scheme and its just a big mess imo
Problem is it's hard to make it not confusing if it's not by removing some of these engines. I don't know if people use them in their own configs or if one of these 217 configs use those engines and if i remove them it'll just ruin the configs up. While i agree on a 1.9L I4 (no SOHC, DOHC, all that) which is used in 2000s versions, i will simply add a name to it like i did with Boostronic engine. Only 2000s engines use a name instead of overhead cam type. I did that just now actually.
Hey mate, will there be extra stuff, including possible "lip" part addons for certain bumpers, as well as some more sideskirts for more aftermarket customization? Some of the bumpers I've got in mind are the Sport-series, and the Utilitron Front Bumper (which could also use a body coloured variant?) I'm also not sure if those things in the 00s bumpers that look like foglights are supposed to be foglights, but don't function as them? Also of note is that the Utilitron can be made into a speedster with a few options, but is also missing spoiler/wing functionality, so is that coming at some point? I was also thinking of 00s "Underground" or "Show-Spec" cars from that era (which would be mad for the Petitron, but one can dream. Overall, the car handles quite well for a little guy!
Renaming won't help it, if i do it then more question will spring up. Keeping some of them as "1.9L DOHC (Race) - 'Moderno / Antarctic / Boostronic' (2000s), Diesel (funny shit)" is simple enough for anyone. also, there's no 1.9 SOHC, you made that up. --- Post updated --- I could've done that but i don't really know if i really want to do it for this update, it's mainly a refresh update, so it's not all about parts at the moment.
gone, they're useless anyway in France. --- Post updated --- Working on config reduction now. Some are going to be completely removed, some of them will be moved to an expansion pack which will come out with 1.6 update, just in case there are people which need them. It's actually 99 but that 1 config is a test config.
Some configurations that are the same just with a different transmission or which wheels are being driven and some that i don't think now make any sense to be added in there.
could you also bump up the config prices as well? ive been able to find low mileaged ones in career for around 1000-3000 beambucks. i feel like low mileaged ones should be around 5000 beambucks
that's more on career mode, some low mileage cars don't cost fair enough. Besides, this thing doesn't deserve to be priced anything above 5000 if it's not a sporty version. It's a piece of crap after all.
i agree that they deserve to be cheap, but they’re so cheap that it would feel like cheating to buy one at their current price
well they have a lot of wear. the brakes, cooling, engine, transmission, ect. thats why any high mileaged car is cheap in career. the wear is simulated
thing is i already bumped up their price in this current update, and i won't do it again because it's going to be this stupid effort of going through every single config and doubling it. I priced them like that so it won't be around 100 or even 50 for a low milage one.
