I made a couple of drawings on the theme of variations of AW Astro bodies, for 4 doors it will be necessary to lengthen the base of the car or make super narrow doors, in any case it would be a lot of work.
seems weird that the 1.6 sync has awd, i was expecting it to be something like a luxury package or something. also why is the 1.6 such a higher power then the 1.3 but the 1.3 is only like 10 hp more then the 1.0. no idea if this is realistic. also the city seems like a really weird config, its priced a lot higher then a 1.0 but is just an appearance package. all discs and both mirrors for all models also seems odd. none of these are issues but just things i find weird for an 80s poor people mobile
Volkswagen Golf I 1.1 had 50 hp, 1.3 had 60 hp and 1.6 had 70-110 hp. Sync version is based on Golf II Syncro which had all wheel drive
Do you even realise how hard is 3d model, texture and jbeam an entire body and specific parts for it?
Body variants are way more work than people seem to think they are. In addition to the 3d modeling work, there's also the issue of fitting all those new models onto pre-existing UV maps for the textures. It also means creating and maintaining a copy of the chassis' jbeam, which is easily the most complex and most often updated component on a car when it comes to jbeam.
Hello. I hope I'm not being inappropriate, but in version 0.26 I noticed two problems: The exhaust is oddly replicating the body color. The arrow and windshield wiper controls are yellow. The 'cache' is already properly cleaned and, as I haven't seen anyone mention it yet, I decided to list the errors here. Thanks.
Etk is a luxury bmw like brand, so it doesn't fit the Astro which is not a luxury car and its mostly based off the vw golf. It would make sense to make a VW like brand for this car.
Hey @Nekkit. I have 2 questions. 1. Can the roof of the convertible be opened and closed? 2. Why did you change the name of this mod from Etk A Series to AW Astro?
etk is basically bmw and well the astro is based off a VW golf so it didn't make sense for it to be an etk and what this guy said...
AW is a separate car brand and its full development is Automobilwerke Wolfsburg. Answering the question: No, the Automobilwerke Wolfsburg is not owned by ETK.
