UPDATE: More Roads. Bridge Supports. New Vegetation More Details. ETC. Links for download are in 1st post!
Hello, I'm interested in buying this mod. I just wonder about performance, is it comparable to stock maps or worse?
The description for this map reads: "You'll get early access to Axle Valley throughout it's development. We will update multiple times weekly until the project is complete." Its now been 24 days since the last update.
WOW, maybe you should not releasing paid mods if you can not handle a simple question like is there a update comming soon. This map is really great, but it is clearly not finished.
yeah i think he cant he also coundt even reply to "hows the performance of the map?" map looks kinda nice but funky author
From my experience if you ignore the annoying stuttering you get every 5-20 seconds its like utah. i got the map a couple of hours ago and there are a couple of things that i found, The bridges feel a bit bland, theres no guard rails or anything like that, its just a white block stopping you from going over the side, and a lot of the posts are missing smooth shading. The tunnel exits feel a bit boxy with not much character. lots of stuttering happens every 5-20 seconds. And why is there advertisements for camodo everywhere? but with that being said it does look amazing.
I've been searching so desperately for a map that's reminiscent of those from MotorStorm Monument Valley, and this one piques my interest. I'll give it a try!
Update is live for supporters! Enjoy the beginning to dozens of miles of trails, climbs and crawls, crossings and jumps. More to come soon... See first post for links to download.
I tried the update about 10 minutes ago, the update really has improved the map, all ive still noticed is the odd lagging that used to happen still happening, its confusing as i believe Johnson valley is bigger and lags less. but damn it looks amazing
Sorry about the lag. It is likely due to the fact that we are using an 8k terrain which is 4x larger than any vanilla map(Italy and Johnson Valley use 4k). And, actually, Axle Valley is LARGER than Johnson Valley with 33% MORE terrain fidelity. Thank you for supporting this project!
