hmmph, well before the update and my OC, it was like slow-mo when in full speed, after OC and update, its like smooth and crisp, and judging by your stats, they are like half of what mine was getting...but 20 fps, not bad, im averaging 26-32 consistently. hurrah!

I'm assuming those are good results? And if so, then why do I have to shove the shaders & lights to minimal in order to play with any fps?

I used AMD catalyst control center suite. I just updated drivers yesterday, previously the program I had took hours to load up for some reason, and its where I do all my color/contrast corrections, as well as power control and OC. after a test OC, I decided to just crank it up all the way.

It's not. I've seen it at 3.8 several times.

My CPU is basically un-overclockable. It used to get to 3.4GHz nice and stable from 2.9 but now it won't even boot with any sort of overclock on the CPU. I can put on an overclock in the OS but I can't get very much out of it before it gets unstable..

My 650ti core clock is 1330MHz from a 1072 stock. :D (It can go further than that :D) I ordered a MSI R9 270 GAMING which should be really good at overclocking.

    I ran 2 test with my i5 3570k

    First with my OC (4.3GHz)

    28841a6d9f.png

Then with all stock BIOS settings (AsRock Extreme4), which resulted in a 3.6GHz clock

I'd like to see a price / mbeams/s chart... could help with recommendations.

Sure could, already had it planned to be honest XD

So yeah I upped it to 4.7 and I was able to get 63.381. This isn't helped much by my pretty cruddy 1333mhz ram. It would have gone higher and got a better result after a few tests but my my temps hit 75c during the test so I pulled it after that. I'm quite pleased with it though and it shows there is apparently some room for improvement in my cooling :p

My Asus G74SX can handle itself pretty well. This is a very neat little benchmark program. Love it.

Seems as though 4 cars is the sweet spot. I would be happy to have a 4 player multiplayer ;)

i7 2630qm @ 2.00ghz not turbo for some reason.. hmm.

    12gb ddr3 ram

Just a little idea, some sort of filter on multiplayer that runs this in the background and determines the maximum size for a lobby for you.
