What voltage u running on your 3770k to make 5ghz stable? I've got good cooling just not good with oc. Msi mpower z77 motherboard.

My 4Ghz voltage is lower than your stock voltage :p Sandy Bridge are really good overclockers.

I started to play with the results, finding out the efficiency of different architectures and stuff.

I was asked to post the link here: (removed, the ideas were integrated into the main doc)

Also attached is a PDF of it as it currently is. There are bound to be some errors, so don't try doing serious work with this I guess, it doesn't take into account hyperthreading for example. However, it is quite obvious to see that AMD trails Intel significantly in the quest for MBeams/Core/GHz.

Nadeox CPU down there along the AMDs xDDDD

Also notice how hyperthreading greatly increases max mbeams.

Wish I could do this with my old P4 Dell, but it runs Linux so no. Beam for Crunchbang? Yes, Please! (it might actually work with a single pigwidgeon)

    Thank you for that!

Really interesting results. Especially the Mbeams/core and Mbeams/core/Ghz.

I would have expected that Haswell would be at the top, but it seems that Ivy Bridge is very efficient too!

I'm sure someone with a 4930K at 4.8-4.9GHZ will break 100Mbeams/s. Anyone with a Xeon 10 or 15 core hyperthreaded CPU would probably hit 130-150Mbeams/s but I don't think anyone with a Xeon E7 CPU would be using it to play BeamNG.

Might I suggest adding usernames to this chart? That way we can ask other users for a specific bench/vehicle?

Ok, tried to add some of the really interesting columns that Metalmuncher added. Added usernames too, so check it to make sure ive put the right people with the right CPU. Also check your own CPU details as i've likely made more than a few mistakes!

    docs.google.com/spreadsheets

If you can think of any other columns to add, let me know. I thought about price, but then the CPUs change price all the time.

The moonhawk. Huge difference from the pickup. As far as "in game" performance goes I've done zero optimization, still learning. Thanks to the guy who posted the vid showing how to bench each vehicle!

    AMD FX6350 @ stock speeds
    Corsair Vengeance RAM (8gbs @ 1600mhz)
    MSI TwinFrozr R9 270x
    Max Mbeams/s 45.437

    Update:
I have now over-clocked to 4.3ghz but for some reason the Banana test finds 4.66ghz?
Anyway the result is 50.024 which is an increase of around 10 per cent.

Ah, nice work. As for CPU prices - I know most of the time Intel lists tray prices on their ARK, maybe you can use those as they are fixed on launch of the CPU most of the time I think. Unfortunately I don't know if AMD does a similar thing.

in the most recent Google Doc, are the clock speeds SUPPOSED to be standard, or is it mixed between OC and Stock? Mine is all stock across the board, but for my lowly APU, there was a decent bump in performance after I went from 1.5 to 2.4...I feel like people should be able to see the stock vs OC values. might convince people to OC, and stop complaining about poor FPS lol
