Based?

Are the cars in beamng based of other cars and if its based on other cars, what are they based on?

Its supposed to be like an old honda civic

 

yeah, I'd say they're pretty based.

 

For me(maybe not for you) they are looking quite the same.
And i mean the 90/80's swift. Not the new one

 

I see the resemblance.

Also lots of cars look close to this but not as close as that Honda can match.

I think the sunburst is kinda based of around 2007-2009 Mazda 3 or at least resembles it.

It's pretty hard to not make a car that came from parts of others that belonged to the same group it was made to represent.

If you compare various Japanese hatchbacks from the 90s, you'll find quite a few features that are common in the majority of them.

Fictional content is only different from non-fiction, due to a lack of it occurring in reality before, and a fiction can even contain snippets of real life events.

If you want to be truly original, fantasy would be the ideal category of vehicle style that you'd aim for. You still have to make a style that each part of the car belongs to, or else it won't even work as a fantasy car. (see pontiac's moonwell for a forum-based example.)

 

Or you could make a supercar that looks like no other, as lots of supercars tend to look very different from each-other.
