Because a 3D printer cost a arm and a leg

 

best way to do it in 1/64 scale would to make it the same was as a hw car with a body and a base and probably use hw wheels and axles

 

1:64 is only about $8 for each car.

 

But you have to buy the 3D printer itself

 

UPS store prints (I think) and a lot of other places do too.

 

Beamng hot wheels are coming to your local stores

Basic 3D printers are around $200; I've even seen some for around $100. You don't need a big fancy one to print something like a 1/64 car for personal enjoyment.
